Stephanie and Brendan's wedding was absolutely beautiful and very unique. It was raining hard all day so we had to adapt to the environment and it worked out great! The women were getting ready at the Delta Hotels Ottawa City Centre and the guys were getting ready at The Albert at Bay Suite Hotel . This was ideal because they were close enough I could walk to both locations and get the shots we wanted of them all getting ready. The wedding ceremony was held at the stunning St. Patrick's Basilica. By the time we left, it was pouring rain. We decided to go to the Canadian War Museum and take family photographs as well as some bridal party and bride and groom photos. From there we went back to the Westin and took more from the lobby and the terrace. I am really proud of the whole wedding party and family for keeping the excitement and high spirits going all day despite the weather. Thanks again for letting me share this special day with you.
This is the perfect story on taking chances. I never book weddings without meeting with the couples in person or video conference. It's really important that we are a great fit so that we can make beautiful photographs together. Liz and Steve booked me on referral from a bride I have later this autumn. We both took her advice and booked each other for the wedding without meeting. I was really nervous and excited to see how the day would play out. The day could not have been more perfect! We started at a little chapel in Fort William, QC and finished at the Sheenboro Hall with a trip to the cottage in between adventures. The entire day was filled with genuine smiles and laughter! The original music performances were really fun and the flowers and decor were elegant, warm and inviting. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
Congratulations Jessica & Trevor! I simply cannot thank you both enough for such an amazing day. This was such a beautiful wedding and all of your friends and family were so kind and fun to be around the whole day. From the moment we arrived until the end of the night, we had a great time with everyone. The whole day was very relaxed and it certainly showed in your photographs. I am so happy that you allowed us to be such an important part of your special day.
I have known Rachel and Joel for a couple of years now and have had the opportunity to photograph them and their children on a few occasions. We always have a great time and take beautiful photographs together. When they asked me to come to Jamaica and shoot their wedding, I was more than excited! I have dreamed of going to Jamaica my whole adult life, and now I get to go with my wife and great friends to do what I love most….and do it in the sun. The whole experience was amazing and we couldn't have asked for more. The weather was beautiful, the resort was amazing, and we took advantage of every opportunity to get off the resort and go on an adventure.
The week started with a place called "The Blue Hole" that I had researched earlier before the trip. It was about a 45 minute cab ride into the countryside. We had fun the whole time. This place is amazing!
Wedding day arrived 5 days after we got there, so we were more than ready for anything at all. The whole day was amazing and I couldn't have been happier for the Bride and Groom. It all started with Rachel getting her hair and makeup done and getting ready for her "First Look" with Joel. From there, the day unfolded perfectly!
The next morning we all got up early to make sure we could get the sunrise for our "Trash the Dress" session on the beach. We were all tired and the water was a little cold first thing in the morning, but we all managed to pull it off. It took us about 1/2 hour to get the shots we wanted and then we went to breakfast. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Thanks again to Rachel and Joel for letting Nicole and I share your special day together.
